Mathletics: YEAR 2 ARE NUMBER 1 IN THE UK!

Year 2 are celebrating today (29/03/11) after seeing that they are currently ranked first in the UK Mathletics Hall of Fame! This is a fantastic achievement for Year 2 and I am sure you will all join me in congratulating the children. Their first in the UK status equates to third in the world! Well done Year 2!

Annual Children's concert - 'Rights R Us'

Children at the school who learn instruments at school have been offered  the opportunity to attend a concert at the Lighthouse, Poole's centre for Arts on Friday 25th March. The concert is organised by Dorset Music Service's County Youth groups.The children are going to listen to Jazz music, listen to wind instruments, there will also be an opportunity for the audience to be involved. They will also be looking at the difference between Britain and South America and the children will see some professional dancing. A letter has been sent out to all children who learn instruments. If you think your child has missed this letter, please contact the school office.
