Some of our musicians in Year 3 and Year 4 today went on a trip to see the BSO in concert! 'Elements' was the theme for the concert, the orchestra played music from Stravinsky, Smetana and Holst. The children were involved throughout using body percussion and singing. It was hugely inspiring listening and seeing an orchestra in action. The sounds created in the theatre were amazing and when all the audience participated with body percussion during Mars by Holst, it was simply stunning!The children represented the school extremely well and, from their feedback, found it as inspiring as me! Well done BSO!
